Movie News: It Comes At Night Release Date

IT COMES AT NIGHT to be released on June 9th.
Imagine the end of the world— Now imagine something worse.

Award-winning filmmaker Trey Edward Shults follows his incredible debut feature Krisha with It Comes At Night, a horror film following a man (Joel Edgerton) as he is learns that the evil stalking his family home may be only a prelude to horrors that come from within.

Secure within a desolate home as an unnatural threat terrorizes the world, the tenuous domestic order he has established with his wife and son is put to the ultimate test with the arrival of a desperate young family seeking refuge.

Despite the best intentions of both families, paranoia and mistrust boil over as the horrors outside creep ever-closer, awakening something hidden and monstrous within him as he learns that the protection of his family comes at the cost of his soul.

STARRING Joel Edgerton, Riley Keough, Christopher Abbott, Carmen Ejogo

Hmmm....I hope that guy is not the typical killer in this movie. Described as differently so I'm looking fwd to this creepy house thing.

Scary movies aren't as scary as they used to be...The conjuring was the last one that came close, but it was almost like the xfiles to be honest they were both Scully and Mulder in disguise.

I would need to see more of the trailer as this one really didn't do anything for me or give me any insight to make a judgement call on. Sorry this trailer leaves a lot to be desired.

Sorry but I stopped watching the horror/scary movies about 15 years ago when they all began to turn into just plain stupid-for-stupids sake theatrics or shock for shocks sake, however you want to say it. A movies, B movies and then there's, C for Crap movies where I place all of these "horror" movies.
Every now and then I'll watch the first 15-20 minutes of one just to see if they've changed but so far in the past 15 years, nope just stupid/dumb and dumber as far as I'm concerned. Of course this is just one man's opinion. If you like them go for it. It at least gives some poor out of work want to be actor something to do for the couple of weeks it takes to shoot one of these.

I love subtle horror movies that have the tension build until you don't know what will happen next.
