The Con is on! My favorite saying always! 2025 is my 19th year attending Comic-Con, and it just keeps getting better. Every year feels different, and this one is no exception. From the in-depth panels to Offsites that stole the show, studios continue to deliver top-notch entertainment. Let’s break it all down!
Started the convention at the Lodge, a staple now every year. Paramount brought CBS Sports, where you could throw some footballs and get cool photo ops. Sports and Con typically don't mix, so I loved seeing this fresh content! The Star Trek activation was my favorite this year. It was a walk-through experience with a bartender serving themed drinks, photo ops, and really awesome actors! There was the most adorable photo op for NCIS Tony & Ziva, we love a Parisian moment, complete with a themed macaroon!
Next up, we went to Adult Swim on the Green. This is a HUGE Activation Event and was so much fun! The theme was cat pirates, which, let’s be honest, is the best theme ever! We jousted on Cats and got to climb on human-sized cat towers! Absolutely yes!
Hulu also returned this year with a super fun King of the Hill offsite. This was so much fun! We got to win super fun prizes by playing random games like ring toss. My favorite swag was the Alamo Koozy, which was definitely a hot item!
What I love about Comic-Con is that there are still new experiences; you can go so many years, and they still surprise you. I had never been to the Her Universe Fashion Show, and this turned out to be the most incredible night. From the free swag (thank you, Lug!!!) to the amazing fashion designers, I was absolutely blown away by the talent and effort that went into putting on this fashion show. Not to mention I’m obsessed with Wicked, so that was just the Cherry on top. I truly hope to attend this event every year because it has honestly changed my life. If you ever have an opportunity to go, please make it a priority!
I have to recap the Percy Jackson experience because I waited a total of 6+ hours to go there twice. The offsite was a themed diner, and when you went inside, you were sorted into a house (I was Hades), there were special effects, and you got to exchange drachma for merch. Truly so, so cool, and I would definitely wait 6+ hours again!
Let’s switch it up and talk about the exhibit hall! If you’ve never walked the floor, I've got you! It’s truly an experience, and there is nothing I can even compare it to. Studios put on photo ops, giveaways, and all kinds of merch from independent artists to well-known brands. My favorite booth this year was LEGO, which brought, quite literally, the coolest LEGO display at the San Diego Convention Center. It absolutely blew me away!
When it came to panels, I was most excited for Universal Studios Epic Universe! I went to Epic before the opening, and it was the most magical experience. I can’t really even put into words how special Epic Universe is, and being able to hear about the park from the creators and also tell them how special the park is was really a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Shoutout Captain Cocoa!!!
Another standout panel was the Lucas Museum of Art. Seeing George Lucas in person was just such a cool experience, and to hear how he is sharing his love of art and entertainment was really, really special.
This year was filled with amazing offsites! Included were Peacemaker, Stitch, Twisted Metal, and a Star Wars/Coca Cola collaboration! So many incredible once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, and, of course, memories to last forever!
