Mid90s is in select theaters on October 26th, 2018.
Jonah Hill’s directorial debut in which he also wrote the film - did not disappoint. It’s a coming of age film and I grew up in the 90’s....do I feel old or what!
The film stars Sunny Suljic as Stevie, a kid growing up in the 90’s who is trying to make friends and fit in with a bunch of skater kids. It shows what it was like during this unique time where all the kids were skating and doing drugs and drinking underage. Adolescence at its finest
Most of the actors are actually skaters that learned how to act for this film. It feels very raw and real. There are some pretty graphic scenes and harsh language so I wouldn’t take your teenagers or kids to see this one.
