The Glass Castle is a movie you might have heard very little about, but it shouldn't go unmissed. Although the run time is long, and the movie is slow paced so it seems even longer, Just bring a bucket of popcorn to help you get through the movie in the slower parts.

Woody Harrelson is ready for his Oscar now. This movie pulls out no stops for Woody as he tries to win the audience over for an award, any award. He wants to make you feel the emotion he is putting on screen, and it works. You will want him to at least be nominated after watching this movie.

Something this movie does do is put a light on how people live all across this county. You will see parts of the US that you didn't know lived that poor, or even still live that poor.

If I were you, I would wait and see this one when it's on the Hallmark channel, or maybe the Lifetime Network. This is one of those types of movies.

If you do see this movie, stay through the credits. They show the real footage of the characters, since this movie is based on real events.
