'The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It' is in Theaters and on HBO Max on June 4th, 2021.

'The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It' reveals a chilling story of terror, murder and unknown evil that shocked even experienced real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. One of the most sensational cases from their files, it starts with a fight for the soul of a young boy, then takes them beyond anything they’d ever seen before, as they unravel a mystery rooted in the occult to save the lives of the innocent.

While this movie does scare me quite often, that's not much to say. There are times during this film that it moves slow, and there is nothing really happening that will scare you. I will say these films tend to be scary, but this one seemed to not live up to the other films.

Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga do deliver a perfect proformance in this film, as they have in the others. They really do have awesome on screen chemstry. Thy just gel well together on screen. They both really do make you believe in the stuff you are watching on screen and want to learn more about it.

While this movie is out on HBO Max, I will say there is some merit to watch this one on the big screen. That is the truest way to get some scares in your face. Maybe if you do decide to watch this one at home, you watch it at midnight in the darkness all alone. That might help you get the scares this movie offers.
