Good Boys is in theaters on August 16th, 2019.
If you are easily offended this is not the movie for you. They rated it R for a reason. This movie is filled
with the type of humor you would need to have developed in this era in order to appreciate it. I do not
recommend bringing young children to this either.
I very rarely laugh in movies. I may find something funny, but I just don’t normally laugh. Out of the 100
minute runtime, there was maybe 10 minutes where I wasn’t laughing my head off. Scene after scene
gave me that “stomach hurting and you can’t breathe" type of laugh. I left the theater with a huge smile
on my face and still chuckling an hour later.
Let me remind you, this is RATED R FOR A REASON. It contains very strong language throughout, sexual
items used as prominent props, and drugs for a side storyline. If you do not have the humor it takes to
navigate the internet today, you will most likely hate and find this movie offensive. Please watch the
trailer so you know what you are getting in to. You obviously know and parent your kids the way you
want, but please do not feel inclined to complain how awful this movie is for them. It’s not meant for
them. Go have a date night, friends night, or just some me time. The point is, go enjoy yourself with this
movie.
