Isn't it Romantic is in theaters on February 13th, 2019.
Isn't It Romantic finds Natalie (Rebel Wilson) disenchanted with the notion of romantic comedies and romance in general since childhood. She has an amazing job, but lacks confidence in all areas of her life. One day, after hitting her head, Natalie wakes up to discover the world has become one giant romantic comedy.
The film costars Adam Devine, Liam Hemsworth, Priyanka Chopra, Betty GIlpin, and Brandon Scott Jones.
I have to say I did not expect much going into it, as I am not generally a big fan of romantic comedies (I don't entirely hate them though). I was pleasantly surprised at a story that is able to straddle being a romantic comedy while also satirizing romantic comedies. The entire cast brought humor and whit that felt fresh and timely.
While the concept of the film isn't anything new, the film and its characters brought a uniqueness to this story telling trope that pulled me in and had me cracking up.
I highly recommend you go see this movie whether you're a romantic comedy fan or not. Bring your significant other or a group of friends, everyone will find something to laugh at.
Rating: 4.7 out of 5

New York City architect Natalie works hard to get noticed at her job but is more likely to be asked to deliver coffee and bagels than to design the city’s next skyscraper. And if things weren’t bad enough, Natalie, a lifelong cynic when it comes to love, has an encounter with a mugger that renders her unconscious, waking to discover that her life has suddenly become her worst nightmare—a romantic comedy—and she is the leading lady.
