Instant Family is in theaters on November 16th, 2018.
Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne star as Pete and Ellie, a husband and wife who decide to adopt three children. They end up fostering with Lizzie, Juan and and Lita. It becomes clear that fostering isn’t easy and they struggle to make the family work. With the help of two social workers, Octavia Spencer and Tig Notaro (both hilarious and amazing) they navigate having an “Instant Family”.
This movie accurately depicts what raising children is like. The good, the bad and the extra challenges that come with adoption and fostering. It’s funny and sweet and I cried more than once.
Instant Family will definitely pull at your heartstrings. If you
like Daddy’s Home you’ll like this one!
Also...shoutout to Grandma Sandy!

Instant Family
When Pete (Mark Wahlberg) and Ellie (Rose Byrne) decide to start a family, they stumble into the world of foster care adoption. They hope to take in one small child but when they meet three siblings, including a rebellious 15 year old girl (Isabela Moner), they find themselves speeding from zero to three kids overnight. Now, Pete and Ellie must hilariously try to learn the ropes of instant parenthood in the hopes of becoming a family. INSTANT FAMILY is inspired by the real events from the life of writer/director Sean Anders and also stars Octavia Spencer, Tig Notaro and Margo Martindale.
