Mile 22 Stars Mark Wahlberg as agent James Silva. He is part of an elite CIA task force working special ops in Indonesia. Their next mission is to extract Li Noor(Iko Uwais), a former agent of the Indonesian police who is being hunted by terrorists. With his team ready to go they attempt to escort Li 22 miles while getting attacked from all angles.

Despite the negative reviews this movie is getting I really enjoyed it. There are some insane fighting scenes and I’ve never heard of Iko Uwais but he is an amazing actor!
Always good to see diversity and representation in films.
I didn’t like the scenes switching back and forth so much, that made some parts - especially the beginning, hard to follow. I did like the movie though, super suspenseful and all around very entertaining.

If these kind of government action movies are your thing you’ll enjoy this one.
