Magic is in the air and in this movie. You may be worried about another movie about Willy Wonka but, don't be. This is one you will enjoy and don't want to miss out on.
Based on the extraordinary character at the center of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Roald Dahl’s most iconic children’s book and one of the best-selling children’s books of all time, “Wonka” tells the wondrous story of how the world’s greatest inventor, magician and chocolate-maker became the beloved Willy Wonka we know today.
Timothée Chalamet really is the perfect Wonka. Watching this movie, all you'll think about is how magical Chalamet is, and how well he does to portray this on screen. All your fears and doubts should be gone. He brings his A-game in acting and style to bring off what we deserve in a young Wonka.
Hugh Grant steals the movie anytime he shows up as the Oompa Loompa. The way he brings the fun into the scene and sarcasm will make you think he is being as they were in the original film. He brings that comedic relief that is needed at times as well as how a young Oompa Loompa would be.
Bring the family, old and young, get the popcorn. This movie is a lot of fun, and the cast fit the bill. Everyone is going to enjoy this one for the holidays and everyone should.
