'Old' is in Theaters July 23rd, 2021.
When you hear a new film is coming out from M. Night Shyamalan you either get excited or you stay away from it. With his new movie 'Old' you won't want to stay away from this one, or you may end up missing what everyone else is talking about.
'Old' is a chilling, mysterious new thriller about a family on a tropical holiday who discover that the secluded beach where they are relaxing for a few hours is somehow causing them to age rapidly … reducing their entire lives into a single day.
While we all know M. Night Shyamalan loves to do cameos in his own films, who wouldn't, you wont miss M. Night in this one. He happens to play a larger than normal role. So now we see more face time with M. Night, but the other actors on the beach really bring the film to life and makes you very engaged.
While this movie has a lot of mystery in it, it quickly turns a bit long in the middle. The issue is everyone (mostly) is so ready for this one, we don't want to wait the whole time to find out what the answer (or twist) is. So make sure you get a big popcorn to enjoy this film during the slow parts.
