- Read Billy's review of 'Those Who Wish Me Dead' Hannah, a smoke jumper still reeling from the loss of three lives she failed to save from a fire when she comes across a traumatized 12-year-old boy with nowhere else to turn.
'Those Who Wish Me Dead' is in In Theaters and HBO Max May 14th, 2021.
It has been a while since we've seen Angelina Jolie, and this role she plays seems fitting for her. It does have a good amount of feeling in the movie and Angelina Jolie knows how to act. It just seemed like she didn't challenge herself in this role.
Angelina Jolie is Hannah, a smoke jumper still reeling from the loss of three lives she failed to save from a fire when she comes across a traumatized 12-year-old boy with nowhere else to turn.
Some of the acting from the other actors were not even close to being realistic. Luckily for most of the movie its only Angelina Jolie and the boy. So it's not a worry that most are bad acting since it's not most of the movie.
The logic in this movie doesn't line up, so don't go in thinking this movie will make sense or even try to be correct. I think when you watch this film, just go in open and not thinking it will make sense.
This is a total popcorn movie. I feel like it's only a popcorn movie. If you don't have the largest bucket of popconr for this movie, I don't really think anyone would like it. The good thing is this is on HBO Max. I will say this is a good in theater movie, but if you can watch it on a big tv at home, it may just make the movie better.
