Jumanji: The Next Level is in theaters on December 13th, 2019.

Jumanji: The Next Level brings the friends back from Welcome to the Jungle to a new adventure when they return home for a college break. They find themselves immersed in the video game, Jumanji, for a second time and learn everything is more dangerous this time around. Is it worth watching the newest level of the game or better left not played?

When it comes to sequels, they typically lose their excitement but this is not the case with Jumanji: The Next Level. The comedic chemistry reaches the same level, if not higher, with the same cast as the first and even more big name cast. There are several laugh out loud moments throughout the movie which keeps the story fresh and entertaining.

Another element of the movie that works to maintain the excitement of Jumanji is its storyline that does not just rely on comedy. It tells the story of friendship and the rocky paths that it can take which adds something fresh and keeps the interest of the audience. It also focuses more on poking fun at itself being a video game and the unrealistic events that happen while playing.

I definitely recommend watching Jumanji: The Next Level if you enjoyed Welcome to the Jungle. It is well connected and keeps the entertainment of being a video game new and exciting.
