Terminator: Dark Fate is in theaters on November 1st, 2019.
If you enjoy occasional witty dialogue, strong female leads, and what seems like an unwinnable fight:
Terminator: Dark Fate is your movie. It combines a new age feel with the same Terminator formula we
all love. Although the storyline plays out like your typical hero vs villain movie, it still feels different. The
dialogue was A+ in my book. There were minimal cringey moments with some humor landing at just the
right time. If you’re a Texas resident then there will be some much appreciated humor for you
especially.
Mackenzie Davis, who plays an augmented human named Grace, absolutely stole the spotlight. Her
banter with Sarah Connor was actually funny and didn’t feel forced.
This movie, like the past movies, opens up the discussion of how far humanity should go in terms of
artificial intelligence. Should we stop while we’re ahead? Should we go further? Or should we find some
middle ground? Regardless of the looming darkness some feel about the subject, this is still a fun movie
and I definitely recommend going to watch it on the big screen.

More than two decades have passed since Sarah Connor prevented Judgment Day, changed the future, and re-wrote the fate of the human race. Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes) is living a simple life in Mexico City with her brother (Diego Boneta) and father when a highly advanced and deadly new Terminator – a Rev-9 (Gabriel Luna) – travels back through time to hunt and kill her. Dani's survival depends on her joining forces with two warriors: Grace (Mackenzie Davis), an enhanced super-soldier from the future, and a battle-hardened Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton). As the Rev-9 ruthlessly destroys everything and everyone in its path on the hunt for Dani, the three are led to a T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) from Sarah’s past that may be their last best hope.
