In Countdown, when a young nurse downloads an app that claims to predict exactly
when a person is going to die, it tells her she only has three days to live. With time ticking away and a mysterious figure haunting her, she must find a way to save her life before
time runs out.
Countdown is in theaters on October 25th, 2019.
There’s a phone app for everything now a days! The “Countdown” ap tells you when you’re going to die, if you try to avoid your death you’ll be haunted by a demon and your death will be terrifying.
Quinn, played by Elizabeth Lail (You) is a nurse who downloads the ap and finds out she will die in a couple days. As she begins to investigate the app and how it’s working she meets Matt, played by Jordan Calloway. The two of them team up to try and change their fate.
There’s plenty of jump scares, but it’s not too scary. I thought it was fun and the movie got right to the point. From the opening scene, it was a quick watch and went by really fast.
If you liked Happy Death Day you’ll like this one, it’s got some humor and it’s not too scary. I thought it was fun and it’s about what you would expect. Good movie to watch just in time for Halloween!
