It Chapter Two is in theaters on September 6th, 2019.
The world’s creepiest clown Pennywise returns for IT Chapter Two. I’ve seen the original TV miniseries
(shout out to Seth Green) and I loved IT Chapter One. Yes, I loved it, but yes, I also spent 85% of the time
watching through a sweater for protection. I was always excited for this final installment, but it doubled
once they started confirming the cast members. Jessica Chastain as Beverly? James McAvoy as Bill? Bill
Hader as Richie!? With a cast like this, it would be hard to ruin a classic story like IT.
The Losers’ Club find themselves returning to the mysterious town of Derry, Maine (Stephen King’s
fictional reoccurring town in his novels) to close the chapter on haunting memories they thought they’d
forgotten. Taking place 27 years after the events of IT Chapter One, we find that the Losers’ Club has
drifted apart, not keeping in touch at all. When Pennywise returns to Derry to wreak havoc, Mike (the
only one who stayed in Derry) knows it’s time for the group to return to their hometown and stop
Pennywise once and for all.
Clocking in at nearly three hours, IT Chapter Two had an amazing cast, some fun character development
and big scares, but I will admit it ran a bit long. I think they could have edited it down a bit shorter. And
while it did deviate a bit from the original story, it had some fun easter eggs and cameos to hit home for
Stephen King fans. Watching Bill Hader as adult Richie was absolutely amazing. The Finn Wolfhard/Bill
Hader pairing could not have been done any better! The cast had amazing chemistry and provided a
solid film follow-up to one of the biggest horror movies ever. And I must give one final shout out to Bill
Skarsgård for shining as Pennywise. He’ll be haunting my dreams for sure.

Evil resurfaces in Derry as director Andy Muschietti reunites the Losers Club—young and adult—in a return to where it all began with “IT CHAPTER TWO.” Because every 27 years evil revisits the town of Derry, Maine, “IT CHAPTER TWO” brings the characters—who’ve long since gone their separate ways—back together as adults, nearly three decades after the events of the first film. James McAvoy (“Split,” upcoming “Glass”) stars as Bill, Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain (“Zero Dark Thirty,” “Mama”) as Beverly, Bill Hader (HBO’s “Barry,” “The Skeleton Twins”) as Richie, Isaiah Mustafa (TV’s “Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments”) as Mike, Jay Ryan (TV’s “Mary Kills People”) as Ben, James Ransone (HBO’s “The Wire”) as Eddie, and Bill Skarsgård returning in the seminal role of Pennywise. Andy Bean (“Allegiant,” Starz’ “Power”) plays Stanley, and reprising their roles as the original members of the Losers Club are Jaeden Martell as Bill, Wyatt Oleff as Stanley, Sophia Lillis as Beverly, Finn Wolfhard as Richie, Jeremy Ray Taylor as Ben, Chosen Jacobs as Mike, and Jack Dylan Grazer as Eddie.
