Disneynature’s Penguins opens in theaters and in IMAX® April 17, 2019.
Disney Nature brings us its next installment in their documentary franchise. Every year they come out with these nature films just in time for Earth Day.
Narrated by Ed Helms, Penguins tells the story of Steve, a quirky, awkward little Adélie penguin. We follow Steve as he journeys through the harsh Antarctic weather to mate and complete his journey into adulthood...well he’s still a kid at heart!
Very entertaining and fun! If you want to take your kids to see an educational yet very entertaining movie - this is it! Not an emotional roller coaster like March of the Penguins, this film is very light hearted and gives a fun look into the lives of these cute little weirdos.
Penguins are so interesting and cute. It was a very pleasant and entertaining! Definitely go see this one, I think people of all ages would find something to like about Steve!

Narrated by Ed Helms (“The Office,” “The Hangover” trilogy,”The Daily Show with John Stewart”), Disneynature’s all-new feature film “Penguins” is a coming-of-age story about an Adélie penguin named Steve who joins millions of fellow males in the icy Antarctic spring on a quest to build a suitable nest, find a life partner and start a family. None of it comes easily for him, especially considering he's targeted by everything from killer whales to leopard seals, who unapologetically threaten his happily ever after.
