The Hummingbird Project is in select theaters on March 22nd, 2019.

The Hummingbird Project is about a couple of guys laying some cable to try and beat the stock market exchange by a couple milliseconds. They claimed in the movie that this would make them millions of dollars because they would be able to trade before anyone else.

When you first hear the names Jesse Eisenberg and Salma Hayek in a movie, you're probably thinking of a sexy smart comedy, that will be smart witted and bold, well, these words do not describe what The Hummingbird Project was, and it should be taken out of your mind. Sadly, while Hayek delivers a perfect 'bad guy' performance, they grossly under use her in the film.

While the movie starts off interesting and makes you interested, it quickly slows down and ends up not holding interest after the first twenty minutes. The film holds a lot of jargon that you won't understand unless you know the stock market, or understand how the cable industry works. They start a few different plots in the movie, while they do wrap everything up by the end, the are running so many that you will not care, or care to remember them, by the end of the movie.

I think if you're bored on a Thursday night with nothing to do, this is the perfect movie for you to watch, but if you can think of something better, I'd suggest for you to skip this one and watch something else.
