Hotel Mumbai is in select theaters on March 29th, 2019.
Hotel Mumbai is a gripping true story of humanity and heroism, Hotel Mumbai vividly recounts the 2008 siege of the famed Taj Hotel by a group of terrorists in Mumbai, India. Among the dedicated hotel staff is the renowned chef Hemant Oberoi (Anupam Kher) and a waiter (Dev Patel) who choose to risk their lives to protect their guests (including Armie Hammer and Jason Isaacs).
I was surprised by how quick this movie starts with the action. They don't take too much time to set up the events. Within the first ten minutes it gets exciting, and you are non stop glued to the screen so you can see what happens next. You will be happy with the amount of action this movie contains.
Now there is some reading to this movie, but it's not as much as you'd think. Most of the hotel guests are either from England or the US, so they all speak English, and the hotel staff speaks English to them too. So don't let the idea of captions stop you from seeing this movie.
I think if you have a chance, you should catch this film. The movie itself keeps moving, and doesn't slow down until the very end of the film. They even show the real images and video footage of these real events at the very end of the movie.
Rating: 4 out of 5
