Fighting with my Family is in theaters on February 22nd, 2019.
Florence Pugh Stars as Saraya “Paige” Davis, a professional wrestler from England who becomes a WWE Divas champion. Growing up in a wrestling family, her mom and dad run their own gym and it’s a lifelong dream for Saraya and her brother Zak to become professional wrestlers. When the WWE comes to the O2 arena in London they both try out for a chance to live their dream.
They accurately show how scary and exciting it is to live your dream and take a chance on a new life. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows, there’s a struggle internally especially when you’re thousands of miles from your support system.
I loved wrestling as a kid though I don’t know much about it now. I still really enjoyed the film, you don’t need to be interested in the sport to like the movie.
It was funny and heartwarming, also The Rock is in it and he’s the best. A good movie to take your family to. There’s something for everyone to enjoy!
Rating: 3.5 out of 5
