In the sequel to the 2015 global smash, father and stepfather, Dusty (Mark Wahlberg) and Brad (Will Ferrell), have joined forces to provide their kids with the perfect Christmas. Their newfound partnership is put to the test when Dusty's old-school, macho Dad (Mel Gibson) and Brad's ultra-affectionate and emotional Dad (John Lithgow) arrive just in time to throw the holiday into complete chaos.

Daddys Home 2 is the sequel to Daddy's Home. Will Ferrel plays brad, the stepfather to Dusty, Mark Wahlberg's kids. In this movie the rival but also BFF dads decide to have "together Christmas" instead of splitting the holidays between the two families. Both Dusty and Brad's fathers come to town (Mel Gibson and John Lithgow) for Christmas, and they all go away to a log cabin for the holidays.

The family bickers as Brad and Dusty are pitted against each other. Throw in John Cena and you've got a pretty hilarious movie.

There are a lot of jokes that are linked to the first film and I'm glad I watched the first one before seeing this movie. I definitely enjoyed it way more knowing the jokes and the different character dynamics. I laughed more than I thought I would, I'd say it's actually funnier than the first movie...and hey - I'm just feelin' Christmas early this year! Bring on the Joy!
