I can see why this film was delayed after being delayed. I just wonder if they should have just thrown this on the streaming service, because I don't think the big screen helped improve this film any more than watching at home could have done.

Having failed to defeat Aquaman the first time, Black Manta, still driven by the need to avenge his father’s death, will stop at nothing to take Aquaman down once and for all. This time Black Manta is more formidable than ever before, wielding the power of the mythic Black Trident, which unleashes an ancient and malevolent force. To defeat him, Aquaman will turn to his imprisoned brother Orm, the former King of Atlantis, to forge an unlikely alliance. Together, they must set aside their differences in order to protect their kingdom and save Aquaman’s family, and the world, from irreversible destruction.

Not only is the script so cheesy, but the actor isn't any better. This one is just filled with lines that will make you grind your teeth. You will wonder why you are sitting here and watching this film. With all the star power this movie had, you'll wonder why it went so wrong so quickly in the film.

If you have the chance to watch this one in the theater, don't. I'm sure it will be on streaming soon enough. Once they see there's no audience that needs to sit through this movie, they will put it over there for you to watch at home. This way, you can stop watching it once the cheese comes out.

AQUAMAN AND THE LOST KINGDOM is in Theaters on December 22nd, 2023.

Rating: 1.5 out of 5
