'Freaky' is in Theaters on November 13th, 2020.

It’s a classic body switch - with a twist! The Blissfield Butcher, (Vince Vaughn), is a serial killer who torments a small town. When he attempts to kill Millie Kessler (Kathryn Newton) it results in a body switch! Now Millie is in the body of a serial killer and must convince her friends she’s who she says she is.

Vince Vaughn was hilarious playing a teenage girl and Kathryn did a great job as a serial killer. Both of their performances were great, but Vince absolutely knocked it out of the park. I liked the ancient magical parts of the movie. I also liked the nod to classic horror icons like Jason, who appear to be human but have super strength and seem to be invincible.

People die in very creative, gory ways in this movie. It’s gruesome but not overly so. I’m loving these “new horror” movies that are funny but scary and very entertaining. If you liked Happy Death Day, I think you’ll like this one. I really enjoyed it and will definitely be watching it again.
