Can a sequel about a news team work?
Now you know with this cast of 4 guys, that this movie will be one of the funniest you will be able to see this year. All four guys are back from the first movie including Christina Applegate.
This time the movie pairs the news team in the ever changing world of the 80s. This movie just proves that everyone wanted to be a news anchor back in this time. It would have been a lot of fun. Sure some of the stuff the did was not right, like smoking crack on national TV, but the news isn't always right, it's ever changing.
Now some of the things Steve Carell's character Brick would say was way too much. You won't be able to control yourself with some of the funny things he says and does. You will also have to pay attention to some of the things Ron Burgundy says when confronted about things.
There are a few similarities in this movie that match up the first movie. If you remember the big fight scene in the first movie with the other news teams, this has the same thing. However it is still enjoyable to watch who they get for cameos in the movie and watch them all fight each other like they really should in real life.
Make sure you stay after the credits for a funny scene.
What would I have changed? (Spoilers)

I think the whole Ron getting blind thing was a bit much. Although that is what this movie is good for. They could have done something else. At the end they didn't say what they were doing after. The announcer guy said they could have any job they wanted to, but didn't say what they ended up doing, maybe this will be a trilogy. I would go again.
